An essential prerequisite to
joining an established class. Beginner workshops are one and a half hour
sessions usually on a Saturday morning. Groups are kept to a maximum of 10
per instructor.
The cost of the single workshop class is £16.00
per person
The session will cover the
principles of Pilates and all of the beginner exercises to ensure you have an understanding of the alignment
required for each movement. You will
be required to complete a health questionnaire before attending so that any
modifications necessary for you will given during the session. The
session will be a little slower than a usual class so that you have a chance
to ask any questions and gain a thorough understanding of the setup and
sequence of each exercise. The workshop will end with a flowing workout
using all of the exercises learnt, giving you the feeling of the pace and
level of a beginner class.
Small groups mean you get
plenty of individual attention. It gives you a taster of Pilates and you can
decide if Pilates is for you before booking onto a course. You will also
have all the basics in place ready to join a class giving you more
confidence and gaining more from lessons. The
workshop and our classes are not suitable for pregnant clients.
