What is Pilates ?

Pilates is a unique exercise programme developed by Joseph Pilates during the 1920s.

Pilates is an all encompassing mind and body exercise that works on the body as a whole. The movements require concentration and precision to gain full advantages. The benefits are quite literally amazing. While it is true that it can sculpt the body by lengthening and toning muscles, its benefits go far deeper than the mere outward appearance of the body.
